Table Manor

I had the pleasure to attend my first Mina Meals Table Manor event.  The theme was Big Ass Kid's.   Yes,  right up my alley.   I'm a big ass kid through and through.   Leading up to the event I was told the menu but nothing prepares you for the actual dinner.

The event was held at The Kupkakerie on Main Street in East Point.   When you walk in the place is decorated with nostalgic toys and games such as Jenga, old school tin lunchboxes, Hoola Hoops, and bouncy balls.   It's an intimate setting of no more than 10 patrons.   The hosts greet you with warm welcome and you feel laid back and at ease.   Then I walked over to the place settings and read what was on the table and my mouth was watering from the popcorn placed at each table.

There are conversation cards for each person and right away the guests are engaged.   The popcorn which is the first course,  tastes like Fruity Pebbles.   I loved Fruity Pebbles as a kid,  I still love them now.   The beverage of choice was a concoction of Sprite and rum soaked Gummi Bears.   Those Gummi Bears were perfectly delicious,  and potent 😊.

Second course was Cafeteria corn with Chili Aioli & Herbs.   Unexpectedly delicious!  The third course and I must say one of my favorites is the Napoleon,  Lemme get one of your TOTS!  This was tater tots with a wonderful twist.   It had Picadillo and Turkey Chili on top of the tater tots.  The taste still lingers in my brain.   It was light,  perfectly seasoned,  and a generous portion.

The main course was a delightful upgrade on square pizza.   The square pizza consisted of Peach BBQ sauce,  Green Jackfruit, Spinach,  & Gruyers. How the chef cane up with this.....I don't know but I savored every bite.   Then came the Hot Cheetos Mac & Cheese.   I'm not a big fan of Hot Flaming Cheetos but the crumbles mixed with expertly prepared mac & cheese was the prefect combination.

Lastly,  dessert... dessert was Shirley Temple Cake which was Lemon Cake,  Maraschino glaze,  and a abundance of cherries.   In between courses there's laughter,  talking,  fun,  and activities.   We all picked a number and there were three opportunities to win balls filled with childhood candy and a free ticket to the next event!

Overall I really enjoyed my first Table Manor event with the incomparable chef Mina.   I look forward to attending more events and meeting even more beautiful people as I met this time around.   Please follow the event and the chef on Instagram.   The Instagram names are @Minameals_ & @Tablemanor_.
